Bobbie Brown Spring 2012: Miami Coral Lipstick and Bare Sparkle Lipgloss

I stopped by the Bobbie Brown counter the other day and looked at the Spring line. I picked up a lipstick and a lipgloss. I’m in love with both of them!

Miami Coral lipstick is almost like a coral nude. Its not too bright, not too pale, just perfect. The Bare Sparkle lipgloss is a super pale peach with shimmer. Together they are fantastic, but they had other lipglosses that would go with Miami Coral too. Did you pick up anything from the Spring collection?

Eylure Katy Perry Eyelashes

Hi guys! I picked up two of the new Eylure Katy Perry eye lashes from Ulta. The Sweetie Pie ones are my favorite. The Kitty Cool are pretty, but a pain to work with. Although both were harder than the regular Eylure lashes to apply, the Kitty Cool gave me the most headache. The bands on both sets are more or less straight and they want to stay in that shape, making it difficult to place on the eye. If you get these, watch the corners. They will sneak up on you! I do not recommend these for beginners! Have you tried any of the Katy Perry styles from Eylure? If so, what was your experience?

Nars Lhasa Eyeshadow

Nars has released a beautiful new taupe eye shadow with their Spring 2012 collection. Its Nars’ Lhasa. Its absolutely gorgeous. Its grey with a purple lean to it. I’m in love! They also released a trio, which was pink based and a duo which was more green based, but I wasn’t crazy about either of those. However, they are limited edition so if your interested get them before they are gone! Lhasa has been added to the permanent collection. Yea!!!
Did you pickup anything from the Spring collection? Let me know!

Laura Mercier Eye and Cheek Palette

Laura Mercier has released a new Eye and Cheek Palette for Spring of 2012. This is a limited edition product and a Sephora exclusive.  It includes six eye shadows and two blushes.  For $60 its a really good deal.  I’m in love!

The blushes are beautiful and the eye shadows are too.  They blend well. The right side of the palette is more purple based, while the left side is more neutral. The eyes shadows include matte and shimmer finishes.

The eye shadow shades are in  Buff Pearl, Tawny Apricot, Rich Cocoa, Pale Pink, African Violet and Black Plum. The cheek colors included are Rose Desire and Fresh Peach.

Are you planning on getting this palette.  Let me know!

Hey guys.  I just wanted to let you know that Rite Aid is doing a buy one, get one half off sale on Physician’s Formula this week. The awesome thing about that is that several of their new products have $3 coupons on them and the new Foundation and Concealer have a rebate for the full purchase price of the item.  When these coupon and rebated items are gone, they are gone, so hurry if you want to try these.

REVIEW: Tarina Tarantino Eye Dream Highlighting Duo in Moon Opal and Iris Plume

I finally decided to try out the Tarina Tarantino eye shadows.  I picked up one of the new Eye Dream Highlighting Duos in Moon Opal and  Iris Plume.  I have to admit, I was impressed!   They are really nice, soft and smooth eye shadows.  They blend like a dream. I believe they have the ability to give fallout, but I tapped my brush off  really well before I put them on my eye and I didn’t notice any fallout.  If you don’t tap your brush off, I expect you will experience eye shadow in places you don’t want it.  If you like any of their colors then definitely give them a try.  I expect I will be purchasing more. I really liked this duo.  I want to try their blushes as well.  Let me know your thoughts on this line.  If you haven’t tried it, do you plan on giving it a go?  I’d love to hear from you!

REVIEW: Physicians Formula PH Matchmaker PH Powered Gloss and Blush

Hi guys!  This is a review on the Physician’s Formula PH Matchmaker PH Powered gloss in “Pink” and blush in “Natural”. These products are supposed to change with the light and also the ph in your skin to give you a natural glow that is true to you, a perfect skin match.

The gloss does change color.  It goes on sheer and changes to a vibrant bright pink, on me at least.  If their promises are true, it may be a slightly different color on you.  It does stain your lips so keep that in mind.  The gloss is not too sticky.  I really like it.  Its pretty neat!  I was entertained.  LOL

The blush is beautiful, but it didn’t change colors on me.  It pretty much looked on my cheeks like it looked in the pan, but I loved it anyway.  Its a great blush, especially for the price ! I would repurchase, even though it didn’t meet Physician’s Formula’s promise to change color on me.

These are both good products quality wise.  Just make sure that you don’t expect too  much from that blush, other than it being  a blush.

Have you tried them and if so, did they change color on you?  If you haven’t tried them, are you going to pick some up?  I’d love to hear from you!
