Flower Cosmetics Win Some Rouge Some Cream Blush in Pure Petunia Review and Swatches

You guys know that I love cream blushes so when I finally found Drew Barrymore’s new Flower Cosmetic Collection at Walmart today I had to pick one up.  There are 6 cream blushes in the line.

Of the six blushes I was most drawn to Pure Petunia (BL1).

The packaging is very pretty, but I have consistently had a hard time opening it.  My blush packaging is very tight and I had to struggle with it to get it open. I ruined my nail polish:(  I suppose that it being hard to open keeps the air out too and maybe it won’t dry out so quickly.

Flower Cosmetics claim that their cream blush:

  • Conforms to skin for a soft “powder”-like finish
  • Blush transforms into a soft velvet veil on cheeks
  • Deposits gentle color for a healthy glow
  • Perfect for layering to build your desired look

It is a very nice formula. Its soft to the touch and blend easily.  You can build the color if you so choose.  It will wear longer if you put a little translucent powder or another blush over it.  Its such a pretty bright peachy pink. Its pinker and brighter when swatched than it looks in the pan.

These cream blushes retail for $7.98. You can buy them online here
icon or at your local Walmart.
