Pantene Pro-V Ultimate 10 BB Creme For Hair Review

I hope you are sitting down, because I have something that even shocked the life out of me. Pantene Pro-V has released a BB cream for hair!!  Of all the companies I expected to jump on the BB Bandwagon, I didn’t expect a hair company.  You know, I just had to pick it up, right? No other choice.

Pantene says the BB creme is supposed to repair rough hair, strengthen, add silkiness, shine, and manageability, smooth and moisturize strands, control frizz, protect against heat and fight flyaways.  It comes in a pump and has a floral scent.

The bottle suggests you use one to two pumps on wet hair. Considering my hair is long, I opted for two and let it air dry, like I normally do.  When it was dry my hair felt very lightweight and soft.  I think that it did moisturize and help with frizz and flyways.  I still feel like I need an extra product for styling. Pantene does not claim that this BB cream will act as a styling product, but they do say that you just put the product on and style as you normally would, which in my mind suggests that is also my styling product. Its a little misleading, I think.

All in all I think this is a nice product to help cut down on some extra bottles in the bathroom and cut out a few steps when getting out of the shower.  I think there are other “non-bb” products that give multiple benefits too such as serving as a leave in conditioner while also providing heat protection. In other words, this is the only “bb” hair cream I have seen, but I don’t think its the only multi-tasking product on the market.  I do like though:)
