I’m always excited every season to see what Tarte releases. This Fall they have called their collection “Rainforest After Dark”. Oh my goodness, the packaging is so cute, except I wish they had used a monkey or something instead of a snake. I don’t like snakes.
I was in Rite Aid the other day and what do I see on the shelf but Maybelline’s “On the Runway” release for fall 2013. There were three displays, one with lipglosses only, one with nail polish only and the other with nail polish, eyeshadow quads and lipsticks.
I think that Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Shadow Collection is so pretty. Take a look!!
I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for summer. I’ve had about all of Old Man Winter that I can stand so even though he is still here at Easter, I’m going on with my spring makeup. Snow be gone!!!
I love the eyeshadow palettes from Smashbox’s Spring “Love Me” collection. There are two, Admire Me and Entice Me. You can check out the Admire Me swatches here
The Entice Me quint is a little more fun. It’s a cool toned palette.
Smashbox has released two new eyeshadow quints for Spring 2013 in their Love Me collection. I picked up the one in “Admire Me”. Its the more neutral quint. You can check out swatches of the “Entice Me” swatches
Bare Minerals has some amazing pressed eyeshadows and they did not disappoint with the their Remix Trend Collection for Spring 2013.
The packaging is a metallic, light blue compact with a mirror and I think its so pretty!
After a year of trying this and that from the drugstore I am ready to render my opinions on the Best of Beauty 2012: Drugstore Edition! Drugstore makeup has really stepped it up. There were some very exciting releases and some long time favorites as well. Check out what I found to be the best in drugstore beauty!!

I’m always on the hunt for a gentle eye makeup remover since I have super sensitive eyes. I decided to try Neutrogena’s Extra Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Pads in hopes of finding a new holy grail product. I found a “what in the heck?” product instead.
