I just tried my first Laura Mercier Lip Glacé and I must say that I like it! The packaging is pretty, the formula, although a little sticky, is not too sticky and it smells divine, like spun sugar. YUM!
Hey guys!! I’m back to blogging and up to more crazy:) I found out that a fitness studio in Lexington gives Lyra Ariel Hoop private fitness classes and, true to my nature, if there is a chance I might hurt myself I have to give it a try, so I did. I picked up two products from the Sephora + Pantone Color of the Year release. I got the lipstick in Tangerine Tango and the Color Of The Year Blush Duo. Given that the Color of the Year is tangerine, I decided to wait until the products were in the store so I could swatch them to make sure that they were, indeed, wearable on my fair skin. I was skeptical, to say the least, especially with the “universally flattering” lipstick.
I was very surprised when I put Tangerine Tango lipstick on my lips and it actually looked good! You could have knocked me over with a feather! To be sure, its a vibrant color and its going to stick out on everyone, but especially on someone with fair skin. I really like it!! I’m glad I was able to get one. Looks like I’ll be rocking some tangerine orange this summer!
The blush duo is just gorgeous, there is no other way to describe it. One color is a peachy coral and the other one is a coral orange. I’m in love. The official color names are are Coral and Dessert Flower. The packaging is very much like Inglot packaging in that it has a removable magnetic top, which I don’t mind, but it annoys some people.
The Color of the Year Creme Lipstick in Tangerine Tango is $18 and the Color of the Year Blush Duo is $28. You can get them, along with other Sephora + Pantone Color of the Year Products at sephora.com or any Sephora store for a limited time.
Did you pick any of the items up, let me know what you think about them!!
